DRAWN TO YOU

Phoebe Nix is barely scraping by as an overworked and underpaid production assistant at a Hollywood animation studio.

Plus, her lifelong dream to create her own animated series means that dating—especially anyone from work—is the least of her priorities. But after she’s selected as a finalist for an in-house pitch contest, Phoebe’s awarded a coveted mentorship with her industry idol. The competition’s grand prize? A greenlight of her original animated series. Suddenly, her dream is within reach.

Cue a plumbing disaster that leaves her without an affordable place to live on her lousy salary. Enter her aloof and mysterious co-worker, Sam Park, who offers his backyard bungalow as a rent-free place to stay... for a favor. Accompany him to his Oscar-winning father’s glitzy, live-action industry events as a “deterrent.” Deter from what, Phoebe isn’t entirely sure. And while she knows better than to mix business with fake pleasure, desperate times call for desperate charades. Though Sam is as charming as he is handsome, he's also a judge for the contest, and Phoebe is determined to keep things strictly professional between them.

As the contest’s deadline draws closer, red-carpet appearances and late-night strategy sessions with Sam soon blur the sketchy line between pretend and something dangerously real. But when her influential mentor shows his true manipulative colors, and his strained relationship with Sam endangers Phoebe’s own ambitions, her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is in jeopardy. Now, failure would mean losing the only dream she’s ever had, and worse—the heart she never meant to give away.
